My role at HCIB
As a joint owner of the Company I am responsible for all areas of the business. Developing business strategy and planning for growth whilst ensuring that our Company ethos of customer first service remains at the heart of everything we do. As a commercial insurance broker, my main specialism is Construction, Plant Hire, Manufacturers, Motor Trade, Professionals and IT Companies and I provide a full client service advising on cover requirements business exposures, obtaining quotations and policy management through to renewal.

I enjoy being part of the HCIB team because
We established HCIB as we believed that there is still a place in the market for customers that valued advice and service and it is the relationships with customers and insurers that I enjoy most. We are building a team of like-minded people with an attitude and mindset that reflects our own.

When I’m not working
I have a daughter and partner that occupy the majority of the time, but when I get the opportunity, I like to play golf and meet my friends at the rugby club that I have been a member of for almost 30 years.

Stewart Drysdale

My role at HCIB
As a joint owner of the Company I am also responsible for all areas of the business, including developing business strategy and planning for growth.

I have been an Insurance Broker for over 30 years working in a variety of businesses. I have an in-depth knowledge of a wide variety of commercial & Private Client insurance with emphasis in construction, plant hire, motor trade, haulage, recycling, IT & media.

I always look to bring integrity, enthusiasm & dedication into my dealings with clients & insurers.

I enjoy being part of the HCIB team because
When I promise a client that they will receive service that will be unparalleled, I truly believe that. As owner of the business, it is down to me to ensure that these promises are maintained, and I have every confidence that this is the case.

When I’m not working
I have three “grown up” children that I still seem to support! Enjoy travelling with my wife, I play 7 a side football, occasional golfer and early morning dog walker.

Graeme Graves

My role at HCIB
Having previously worked with both Dan and Stewart for many years they brought me on board as Operations Director to assist in the further development of the business. My 25 year insurance experience, with both Clients and Operations, will help the business progress towards our goals and provide invaluable support to allow us to push the business forward.

My experience with clients ranges from sole traders to large multinational companies, dealing with a multitude of industries.

My operational experience includes Compliance, Documentation, IT, HR, Process and, well, a bit of everything!

I enjoy being part of the team because
Being part of a growing company brings a renewed enthusiasm and the challenge of pushing the business forward drives me even further on. It is exceptionally rewarding to see the progress to both the firm & my colleagues every day.

When I’m not working
Football for both of my boys seems to dominate my home life commitments. I still enjoy playing myself, although only 5 a side now!
